Team Score = 342 2nd Best Sectional Golf Tournament Score in School History
The varsity team placed 6th place out of 14 teams yesterday at the OHSAA Sectional Golf Tournament. Ethan Lukey and Tanner Voisard each fired 79's to qualify as individuals for the District Tournament. Luke Crim added a solid 90 and Reagan Steiner added a personal-best 94! The team score of 342 is our second best sectional tournament score in school history and is the 4th lowest 18-hole score in school history for any round.
Team Score = 172
The varsity team improved to 8 - 6 on the season with a win over Sidney on Monday (172-173). Ethan Lukey led the team with a smooth 38. Tanner Voisard added a solid 41.
Team Score = 170
The varsity team defeated Anna (191) and Marion Local (170) in a tri-match at Shelby Oaks on Thursday. Ethan Lukey fired a 37, Gabe Stangel had a personal-best 42, Tanner Voisard added a 45, and Luke Crim had a 46. Reagan Steiner and Ethan Dienhart each added valuable 47's.
This is the first time I can remember having all six varsity scores below 48. Reagan Steiner and Ethan Dienhart pushed the team over the top against Marion Local, as their 47's gave use a tie-break win over Marion Local.
Team Score = 170
The varsity golf team defeated Fairlawn in a non-league match at Shelby Oaks on Tuesday. Ethan Lukey led the team with a 40. Luke Crim fired a 42 (including a near eagle on hole 5 West). Tanner Voisard had a 43, and Reagan Steiner added a smooth 45.
Team Score = 338 (2nd lowest team score in school history) SCAL Finish = 3-3
The varsity team capped off the SCAL golf season with their best SCAL Tournament team score in school history (338)! Ethan Lukey led the team with a 77. Tanner Voisard added a smooth 81. Luke Crim had a person-best 85, and Reagan Steiner had a valuable 95.
Ethan Lukey finished the regular season with First Team All-SCAL honors for the third year in a row (3rd Lowest Scoring Total). Tanner Voisard earned Second Team All-SCAL honors, and Luke Crim finished in the Top-20 in the SCAL.

The varsity team ended their regular season 3-3 with a match against Botkins. Leading the team was Ethan Lukey with a 40. Gabe Stangel fired a season best 45. Tanner Voisard added a 45, and Ethan Dienhart had a 49.
Team Score = 165 (nearly a school record)
The varsity team fired their lowest 9-hole score of the year in an SCAL win over Jackson Center on Thursday. The win moves the team ahead of Fort Loramie into third place in the SCAL (3-2 record) and the twelve stroke margin of victory marks one of our largest wins of the year (165-177). Tanner Voisard was match medalist with a 38. Ethan Lukey added a smooth 39. Reagan Steiner notched a personal-best of 43, and Luke Crim added a reliable 45. Gabe Stangel continued his solid season with a valuable 47.

4-2 Match-play Loss
The varsity team narrowly lost a tough match against Jackson Center on Thursday (2 - 4 matches) in a non-league 6 vs. 6 match-play match.
Team Score = 172
The varsity team improved to 2-2 in SCAL play on Friday with a big win over Fairlawn. Senior Ethan Dienhart fired a personal-best 40 to lead the team and earn match-medalist honors. Ethan Lukey added a hard-fought 42 after a tough opening hole. Reagan Steiner fired a season-best 44. Gabe Stangel rounded back into form with a recent-best 46.
Team Score = 167
The varsity team fired their second lowest nine hole round of the year in a league match win over Anna on Tuesday. Ethan Lukey was the medalist with a 37, Ethan Dienhart obliterated his personal-record with a 41, Luke Crim added a smooth 43 and Tanner Voisard carded a 46. The team will be back in action next week on Tuesday and Thursday against Jackson Center.

The varsity team battled hard on Monday on the North side at Shelby Oaks. Ethan Lukey continued his steady play with a smooth 39. Luke Crim added a valuable 45, and Ethan Dienhart fired a personal-best 46!

The varsity team lost a tough match vs. Fort Loramie on Saturday on the difficult back course of Arrowhead. Leading the team was match-medalist Ethan Lukey with a 36. Tanner Voisard and Luke Crim each added 46's.
Team Score = 165 (nearly a school record)
The varsity team fired their lowest 9-hole score of the season in a big win over Fort Recovery (165 - 235). Leading the team was match-medalist Tanner Voisard with a 37! Ethan Lukey added a smooth 39. Luke Crim also fired a season-best 41!

The varsity golf team lost an extremely close match against SCAL leading Russia (172-167). Leading the team was match-medalist Ethan Lukey with a 37! Tanner Voisard added a smooth 42, Luke Crim had a 46 and Ethan Dienhart had a valuable 47!

Ethan Lukey and Tanner Voisard each fired 39's tonight in a tough match against Botkins. Gabe Stangel added his 9-hole round of the season with a 47.

The varsity golf team continued their strong start to the 2023 season at the Arrowhead Invitational on Tuesday. Tanner Voisard led the team with a personal-best 76, Ethan Lukey added a smooth 81, Luke Crim fired a personal-best 89, Reagan Steiner tied his personal-best with another 94, Ethan Dienhart added a 97, and Gabe Stangel had a 108.
Teams we beat: National Trail (346), St. Marys (360), Sidney (362), Versailles (367), Jackson Center (371), Anna (371), Milton Union (390), and Fairlawn (416).
Team Score = 347 6th Lowest 18-Hole Score in School History
The varsity golf team started off the season with a strong third place finish in the SCAL Preview Tournament held at Shelby Oaks. Tanner Voisard led the team with a personal-best 80, Ethan Lukey added a steady 82, Luke Crim fired a personal-best 91, Reagan Steiner had a personal-best 94, Ethan Dienhart overcame a tough start to shoot a personal-best 96, and Gabe Stangel rounded out the varsity squad with a valuable 97. I cannot remember another time our varsity team achieved four personal-best scores in the same round.
Our team was one of only two teams in the field with six solid scores below 100 (Houston and Russia). With this depth of quality, we will see all of our varsity members contribute throughout the season.
